With August came our second anniversary! August 27th, 2013. *heart eyes* Two years with Ryan. In some ways it feels like I've known him my whole life, and in other ways I can't wrap my head around TWO YEARS of being married! I love it. I love being with Ryan!
I got my ring redipped and cleaned for the first time, which was magical! I couldn't stop staring at it - It was like we were newly engaged allll over again. Aww. Totally worth it after barely surviving the two days I was without it on my finger. Ryan was secretly rolling his eyes the entire time through my moaning and pining, I'm sure.

A surprise sittin on the table for me when I got home from work. S'cute. [:
A few months before our anniversary we decided to splurge on ourselves and book a night up in Deer Valley at the five-star Stein Eriksen Lodge. The staff left us a cute little note and some chocolates in honor of it, and we felt truly pampered all-around! It was a stunning hotel and we loved spending our anniversary there. We decided to eat dinner in Park City that evening, and at the referral of the concierge chose River Horse on Main Street. It was some of the best food we've ever had! Man. I still drool thinking about that macadamia-encrusted halibut. Woah. The atmosphere out on the deck was lovely and we really enjoyed it. Ahh I loved this trip.
After dinner we wandered for awhile, got some Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for dessert, and met some of the cutest sister missionaries at the Genealogy Center (I've lost count of how many times sister missionaries have asked me where I served my mission before apologizing when I tell them I didn't, because apparently "I just look/act/smile/seem like a returned missionary." Haha. Flattering!) before returning to the hotel, relaxing in our hot tub and watching a movie in our cozy room (though we came to the unanimous decision that couples that prefer king-sized beds are crazy. We for one are not fans of spending a whole night not being able to find your cuddle buddy over the vast wilderness of emptiness). The next morning brought an incredible breakfast at the hotel's Glitretind restaurant, (can you say zucchini bread French toast?! Woah. It was heavenly) and it was all so perfect that we definitely didn't want the trip to end.

Our pretty, pretty view.
Two years down, eternity to go! I am so lucky to have my husband. Being in love with someone that you trust 100% loves you right back just as much has got to be the most magical thing in the world. Marriage brings challenges that require patience, humor, perseverance, humility, and communication, but man, Ryan is a natural at it all, and even if that wasn't the case, I love that we are a team - I know we would work it out. I have loved these two years of growth and I can already see how love gets sweeter with time. And I get him for the whole rest of eternity?! I love you, Ryan!
