Life after Hawaii was a bit of a downer, but what can ya do. ;) Luckily I love my job, and summer is our busiest time of year, so the lab kept me busy!
Running calcium hardness and TOC. Hardness is one of my favorite tests. :] Cause #prettycolors.
Celebrated this wonderful lady's birthday with Settebello (of course) and gelato with friends (see my tiny baby bump? Teehee. It's there!).
Trevor got married! It was a mini (they get mini-er with every passing year as people move out of Utah, haha) 168th-ward reunion and such a lovely night. A definite highlight was running into Bishop Welch and his wonderful wife & letting them in on the news of our little growin' babe. They just about died. :] It was the best night! Yay for love!
We went to Sonic for slushies afterwards and I remember Andrew told us a story that was either really hilarious or really awful... Maybe both at the same time. But either way we were crying laughing.
Baby Gray's wardrobe continued to expand! We have the best family and friends!
Going to IKEA to look at cribs and feelin pretty excited about it!
And then, heaven.
Pioneer Day is a state holiday in Utah (rightly so, pioneers ftw), and we've made it a tradition the last two years to spend the long weekend with my family up on the boat!
Friday Harbor by night. It doesn't get much better. I love being here with Ryan! And I love how much he loves being there, too.
We did some serious planning for our upcoming Europe trip that would be happening summer 2017! Yep. With six-month-old Baby Gray. We had no idea what to expect, but we were excited to wing it!
Pretty, pretty Roche Harbor.
Some of us walked up to the McMillin Family Mausoleum together. SUCH a cool place. A little creepy, but also a little... sacred! It's neat. Although I still have repressed memories of that one time when I was like 8 and my dad hid in the bushes along the dirt road IN THE DARK while we were walking back to the harbor. When he growled and jumped out at us I literally thought my soul was going to peace out and leave my body right. there. Traumatized me for life. Possibly the scared-est I've ever been.
Kind of not even sure how this came to be but I like it.
And then back home sweet home and trying out Rockwell Creamery in Provo for the first time. Um, I AM A FAN.
Oh summer, you're a lovely thing! 🌞 We sure to like you.
